About the Artist Tyrrell Masse

Hi my name is Tyrrell Masse, but most people call me Peggy. I am a wife (now widowed), mother, entrepreneur and visual artist. I was born and raised in Chicago, and now reside in New Jersey

I am a deeply philanthropic person and helped to grow HABcore, a great  nonprofit organization devoted to providing permanent housing for homeless veterans, families and individuals with Special needs. I also love helping fellow artists market and promote their work.

I have always been creative and solutions-focused in my art, businesses and charity work. I attribute this to my dyslexia which helps me think outside the box. This has helped  me personally and professionally. And in my art I have found that my creative soul comes alive. It is pure imagination and very exciting.

But… I also find art to be very meditative, relaxing and calming.

I want individuals to experience art as a means of rejuvenation and believe that art is a critical and often unexplored avenue of wellness. Art leads people to center themselves and de-stress through its presence in their surroundings, fostering harmony. A balanced life not only encompasses your health, but also the atmosphere in which you live.  Art aids in helping achieve that equilibrium.

In 2008 I created a new way to experience Art. Move n Art. A vehicle to use as Meditative Art. Art moves slowly across your phone’s screen or mobile device with soothing music. You can Meditate into Mindfulness anytime, anywhere. Here is a Move n Art sample.
